在全球变暖的背景下，北极海冰快速融化，冬季乌拉尔阻塞事件频繁发生。乌拉尔阻塞事件通常伴随着欧亚大陆极端事件的发生，因而受到国内外学者的广泛关注。不少研究指出，在季节和年际尺度上乌拉尔阻塞与北极海冰有着密切的联系，然而鲜有学者从次季节尺度研究北极海冰对乌拉尔阻塞的影响。
